Ordination to the Priesthood

Father Tony Laforet

Father Steve attends the Ordination to the Priesthood of his longtime friend Father Tony Laforet of the Diocese of London, Ontario.  The ordination took place on Saturday April 30, 2011, at St. Peter's Basillica, London.  The following day, Father Tony celebrated his First Mass at St. Anne Church, Tecumseh, on Divine Mercy Sunday and the celebration of the Beatification of Pope John Paul II in Rome.

 Bishop Ronald Fabbro, C.S.B., Bishop of London, Ontario ordains Father Tony
with the ancient gesture of the laying on of hands.

Father Steve and approximately one hundred priests present express their priestly fraternity
by sharing in this ancient gesture as a part of the Ordination Rite.

Father Tony is vested following the Laying on of hands.
